Tuesday was like a Christmas for the orphans at Abiye Orphanage Home, Osogbo when Dr. Olayinka Ayinde visited the place as part of programme marking his birthday.
Ayinde, a governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress revealed that he intentionally prioritised the visit to the place above all other activities for his birthday.
He said “I’m always humbled when I visit places like this, our homes and communities need people like you who are so compassionate and kind hearted in taking care of less privileged kids in the society. You have really helped the government and the society in a lot of ways, may God bless the children and your individual homes”.
In his appreciative response, the Director of the Home, Mr Olalere Egbewole said “we appreciate your kind gesture, we hope the society will pick from this and see reasons to help us, may God bless you abundantly even as we expect more of you.
