A leading Kwara State gubernatorial aspirant and former federal Lawmaker, Hon. Mashood Mustapha, has commenced consultation tour on his governorship ambition.
Fittingly, he started from his home base in Isale-Aluko/Alanamu Ward, Ilorin West Local Government.
Mustapha, who stormed the area with some of his associates and supporters, was given a warm reception by youths, women, men and elders in the community.
While addressing the people, the former federal Lawmaker unveiled his governorship ambition and solicited for the support of his people.
He explained that since charity begins at home, he decided to meet his people in Isale-Aluko/Alanamu ward first before reaching out to other Kwarans/residents.
Mashood Mustapha, fondly called MM, thanked the attendees for giving him a carnival-like reception and promised not to disappoint them.
Some of the attendees who spoke pledged their support for MM, stating that he is a good son of Isale-Aluko and the best man to pilot the affairs of Kwara state come 2019.
Others said MM’s impressive performance while representing Asa/Ilorin West Local Government Federal Constituency has endeared him to the people. Thus, they said they are ready to give him their unwavering support and loyality for the success of Project MM 2019.
