Unknown gunmen have killed a personal assistant to the a former governor of Ekiti state, Segun Oni, Bunmi Ojo.
Ojo who is an native of Ido-Ekiti was attacked by unknown assailants last night at a viewing centre in Ado-Ekiti.
The victim sustained gunshots to the head and stomach and died at the spot.
However, it has not been confirmed if the killing is politically motivated as investigations are still ongoing by law enforcement agencies.
