A lecturer in the department of Philosophy, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, (name withheld) punished his students for making noise in the class.
The punishment has got the social media users talking. While some believed it is normal, others hold opinion that the decision of the lecturer is bad.
The latter group said the lecturer has turned the university to advanced secondary school.
