Mild drama ensued on Wednesday at the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as sacked Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye was denied access into the premises of the Commission.

Melaye in the company of some journalists was refused entry into the commission’s premises.

The senator has allegedly gone to submit the electoral umpires office to submit what he tagged “additional petition”.

A camera belonging to one of the Journalists was said to have been seized but later released when Melaye intervened.

Melaye, who is the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the ongoing Kogi West Senatorial rerun election, had last week stormed INEC’s headquarters where he had presented 21 video and documentary evidence against the November 16th 2019.
