It was a joyous moment today as the council of Odu’a Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture at the 2020 AGM elect new President and Executives for next Two years administration of the chamber.

The new executives are:
1. President Prince Kayode Adeyemi (Osun)
2. 1st Deputy President Dr Oluwatoyin Ojelabi (Oyo)
3. 2nd Deputy President Alhaji wasiu Olaleye (Ogun)
4. Treasurer Mrs. Dupe Olakunle (Ondo)
5. Deputy Treasurer Alhaji Olufemi Hassan (Ekiti)
6. Auditor Lagos (To be provided)
7. Ex-officio Ekiti Chief Kola Akosile (Immediate Past President)

Present at the AGM and election are Otunba Dele Oye, NACCIMA 2nd Deputy President and other leaders of organized private sector in the region.

While delivering his speech, the outgone President, Chief Kola President appreciated supports he got from all Chamber members during his tenure and admonished the new president Prince Kayode Adeyemi to raise the bar of the standards in moving the southwest business community forward.

The new President Prince Kayode Adeyemi while delivering his acceptance speech, appreciated all past leaders of the Chamber in the southwest region for keeping the organised private sector stronger. He promised to work with other stakeholders in the region to transform the moribund industries in southwest among other innovations to be introduced by the new executive for development of economic activities in the southwest Nigeria

The President Kayode Adeyemi announced the date for investiture of new executive will be made public in the early week of January, 2021.

The Director General, Mr David Awotipe express the desire of the secretariat to assist the new executives in delivering their mandate for the two years administration.
