Tracka, a non-governmental organization that specializes in tracking government projects has revealed that a National Assembly member in the Federal Capital Territory, has spent N10m to install six solar lights.

The organization said the project was part of the 2021 zonal intervention projects of the national assembly members.

“N10m was BUDGETED in the 2021 ZIP for the installation of solar street light at FO besides, Sokale Garden off Dutse road, Kubuwa FCT, Abuja.

“We tracked and reported that ONLY SIX (6) solar streetlights installed in the community and working perfectly.”

It’s unclear if the project was executed by Hon. Michan Jiba, the House of Representatives member representing AMAC/Bwari federal constituency or Senator Phillip Aduda, the FCT senator.
