Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State have arrived Port Harcourt to meet with their Rivers counterpart, Nyesom Wike.
The three All Progressives Congress forum arrived Port Harcourt after 4pm for a meeting with Wike.
The motive of the meeting has not been revealed but it’s may not be unconnected with the crisis rocking the opposition People’s Democratic Party since the emergence of Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as running mate to Atiku Abubakar.
Wike participated in the presidential primary of the PDP as an aspirant but he lost the race to Atiku. He was also believed to be interested in being the running mate but was ditched at the last minute.
Other present at the ongoing closed door meeting include former Ekiti State Governor and Ally of Wike, Ayodele Fayose.
This meeting has fueled the planned defection or sabotage by Wike.
