The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has won all 16 local government areas in Ekiti State.
According to the State collated results, Tinubu polled a total of 201,494 votes to defeat the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar who polled 89, 554 votes.
Labour Party candidate, Mr Peter Obi came a distant third with 11,397 votes.
Ekiti is currently being ruled by APC’s Governor Biodun Oyebanji while his predecessor, Dr Kayode Fayemi is a huge supporter of Tinubu.
