Vice-President Kashim Shettima has expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic outlook, assuring citizens that 2025 will usher in prosperity and smiles.

Speaking to State House Correspondents after meeting with President Bola Tinubu in Lagos on Wednesday, Shettima highlighted ongoing efforts to stabilize the economy.

“The economy is already showing signs of recovery, and in the weeks and months ahead, Nigerians will begin to feel the positive impact,” he said.

He added that the government is working closely with the National Assembly to craft comprehensive solutions to the country’s challenges.

“No nation is exempt from the global economic challenges caused by factors such as the Ukraine crisis and other global trends. As part of the global community, we have felt the impact,” Shettima noted.

Despite these challenges, he assured Nigerians that the country has turned a corner and is now on a trajectory of sustainable growth. “We have crossed the Rubicon,” the Vice President concluded.
