Fijabi Oyindamola Omotayo, mother of missing Babcock University student Oladipupo Siwajuola, has issued an emotional plea on Facebook for help in locating her son.

In a tearful live broadcast, Omotayo said she dropped Oladipupo off at the Ilishan-Remo campus on Sunday, April 27, 2025, and has not heard from him since.

“Please help me tell Babcock University to produce my son,” she begged. “They say students sometimes hide, but I haven’t slept in three days. My son is missing.”

Omotayo also questioned the lack of scrutiny on two students Lampard and Tobi reportedly the last to see her son. “My son is not furniture. Babcock must be held accountable,” she said.

Emmanuel Ojo, Special Assistant on New Media to the Ogun State Governor, said the Education Commissioner has contacted Babcock’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ademola Tayo, who has pledged swift action. Ojo added that security agencies are now involved.

Babcock’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Dr. Joshua Suleiman, confirmed an internal investigation is underway.

Ogun State Police Commissioner Lanre Ogunlowo also confirmed that police have opened an investigation following the mother’s report.
