Suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has dismissed explosive claims by US-based activist Dr. Sandra Duru (aka Prof. Mgbeke) as false and manipulated.

Through her media aide Israel Arogbonlo, Akpoti-Uduaghan denied Duru’s Facebook livestream allegations that she fabricated sexual misconduct claims against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and offered N200 million in bribe money to support them. Duru also accused her of trying to implicate Akpabio in a girl’s death.

Akpoti-Uduaghan called the audio clips used in the livestream doctored and denied making derogatory remarks attributed to her about public figures including Dr. Oby Ezekwesili and Dr. Abiola.

She questioned Duru’s credibility, stating she only recently learned that “Sandra Duru” and “Prof. Mgbeke” are the same person.

“I will address these baseless allegations in full soon,” she said.
