Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has opened up about the hardships he faced growing up, revealing how he took on menial jobs in Lagos just to help his family survive.
In an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Osimhen spoke about the difficult conditions of his early life and the determination that kept him going.
“There was a building opposite my house, a typical face-me-I-face-you. I used to fetch water for the tenants there for N80,” he shared.
“Many times, I washed gutters even when they were filled with green algae.”
Osimhen recalled earning as little as N30 to N80 for each task, stressing how those small amounts made a difference in supporting his family.
