The draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup was completed on Wednesday night, shortly after Grimsby Town stunned Manchester United to secure their place in the next stage.
This round marks the entry of clubs involved in European competitions, setting up a number of eye-catching fixtures. Arsenal will travel to League One side Port Vale, while Chelsea face away trip to Lincoln City. Liverpool will host Southampton at Anfield, and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City head to Huddersfield Town.
All ties are scheduled to take place during the weeks beginning September 15 and September 22.
