Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has reportedly agreed personal terms for a permanent transfer to Bayern Munich once his loan spell ends next summer.

According to German outlet BILD (via Metro), the Senegalese striker has settled on a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions. Bayern manager Vincent Kompany’s side is said to have moved swiftly to secure Jackson’s commitment and ward off interest from rival clubs.

While the player’s deal is understood to be in place, Bayern will delay opening talks with Chelsea over a transfer fee until a later date.

Jackson, 24, joined Bayern on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day. He originally signed for Chelsea from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal but slipped down manager Enzo Maresca’s pecking order following the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
