President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the immediate construction of two new hostels for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.

According to the directive, each hostel will accommodate 300 students, one designated for male students and the other for female students.

The President also ordered the construction of a road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University. The new road is expected to ease traffic around the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Confirming the development on Tuesday, Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), said the projects have been granted emergency approval.

“These facilities will provide much-needed accommodation for Law School students, while the new road will help reduce congestion in the area,” Olayinka stated.

This comes a day after FCT Minister Nyesom Wike reaffirmed that President Tinubu remains committed to delivering his Renewed Hope agenda, assuring that Abuja will be transformed into a world-class city under the current administration.
