Mohamed Salah is preparing to bring his remarkable chapter with Liverpool F.C. to a close, with fresh details highlighting the incredible legacy he leaves behind in the Premier League.

The Egyptian forward confirmed on Tuesday that he will depart Anfield at the end of the season. Despite having a year left on his current contract, Liverpool are set to let him leave as a free agent this summer.

As news of his exit broke, statistics released by Opta underscored just how dominant Salah has been during his time in England.

In 310 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, Salah has recorded an outstanding 281 goal contribution with an amazing 189 goals and 92 assists, making him the player with the highest combined goals and assists for a single club in the league’s history.

Even more impressively, since the 2017/2018 season, the 33-year-old has led the Premier League charts in multiple attacking metrics, including goals, assists, chances created from open play, total shots, shots on target, and touches inside the opposition’s penalty area.

Salah joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017 and quickly rose to become one of the club’s greatest-ever players, cementing his status as a modern-day legend at Anfield.
