Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi as their new head coach.
The Italian tactician is set to take charge immediately after agreeing to a five-year contract, as the North London club looks to rebuild and compete strongly in both domestic and European competitions.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano first confirmed the development on Tuesday via X, noting that De Zerbi had accepted the role without delay.
According to Romano, the deal had been in progress for some time before being finalised, with the manager opting to embrace the challenge of leading Spurs into a new era.
De Zerbi’s arrival follows the departure of Igor Tudor, as Tottenham continue a season marked by significant changes and uncertainty.
The club will now be hoping the highly regarded coach can stabilise the team, improve performances, and guide them back into contention at the top level of English and European football.
