Popular media personality and content creator, Oluwabukunmi Adeaga Ilori popularly known as Kiekie, has opened up on why she chooses to keep parts of her personal life away from the public despite her strong presence online.

Speaking at The Creative Blueprint event hosted by actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele, KieKie explained that she has learned how to strike a balance between her private life and her brand.

In a video shared from the event, she noted that while her online persona focuses on entertainment, particularly comedy, she deliberately draws a clear boundary between her personal identity and her public content.

Addressing curiosity about her family, KieKie clarified why her husband rarely appears in her videos. According to her, her content is primarily comic, and her husband does not fit into that space, making his absence intentional rather than secretive.

However, she said her daughter occasionally features in her content due to her natural interest in being in front of the camera. She added that her child only participates during school holidays, stressing that education remains the priority.

KieKie also used the opportunity to advise content creators on maintaining originality, warning against overusing viral trends. She noted that repeatedly recycling the same ideas can make content less appealing and lead to oversharing.

Encouraging creativity, she urged creators to see viral moments as motivation to produce more fresh and unique content rather than relying on a single idea.
