Suspected armed robbers have attacked the residence of Nigerian music duo, the Adegbodu Twins, just days after the burial of one of the siblings, Taiwo Adegbodu.

The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday night around 9 p.m., leaving the family shaken and fearful.

In a video shared online, Kehinde Adegbodu, the surviving member of the duo, revealed that the attackers made away with several valuables, including clothes, shoes, mobile phones, and gold items.

Kehinde explained that he was not at home when the robbery took place, noting that he had travelled to Osun State at the time. He said he rushed back after receiving a distress call from his late brother’s wife, who, along with other family members, was left traumatised by the incident.

According to him, the robbers appeared to be searching for money believed to have been donated during Taiwo’s burial. He recounted that one of the intruders was overheard making a call, saying no cash was found in the house.

The singer clarified that he no longer had any of the burial donations, stating that the funds had been used for funeral expenses and to complete an unfinished building where his brother was laid to rest.

Visibly distressed, Kehinde appealed for safety and understanding, insisting he had wronged no one. He expressed fears over the security of his family, especially the children who witnessed the armed men during the attack.

“I don’t want our name to trend again for negative reasons,” he said, calling for prayers and support as the family copes with the aftermath of both the loss and the robbery.
