The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will have their results released before midnight on Friday.
The update was disclosed in a statement shared on X by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the examination body, candidates who participated in the test on Thursday, April 16, 2026, can expect their results to be made available later in the day.
“This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on Thursday, 16th April 2026, that their results will be released today before midnight,” the statement read.
JAMB added that an official public announcement would be issued immediately the results are released, with updates to be posted on its official platforms.
The 2026 UTME commenced nationwide on April 16, marking the start of the annual examination for prospective tertiary institution candidates across Nigeria.
