The people of Oluponna in Ayedire Local Government Area have recorded a significant milestone in community development, following the approval by the Federal Government of Nigeria for the supply and installation of 500KVA transformer and the drilling of boreholes across strategic locations within the community.

This laudable intervention, facilitated by the Director-General of the Tinubu-Shettima Ambassadors (TSA) and aspirant for House of Assembly, Prince Oyelude Oladele, received official clearance through the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) and was formally awarded on April 24, 2026.

Making this known via his official Facebook platform on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Prince Oladele described the projects as timely and essential interventions aimed at addressing critical infrastructure deficits in Oluponna.

He emphasized that the provision of brand new 500KVA transformer would significantly enhance electricity supply by replacing overstretched and obsolete units, thereby improving economic activities and the overall standard of living within the community.

In addition, the borehole projects are strategically designed to provide sustainable access to clean and potable water in underserved areas, directly impacting public health and social wellbeing.

According to him, “these projects are currently undergoing the necessary procurement processes, with statutory mobilization for execution expected in due course.”

Prince Oladele expressed profound appreciation to the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the projects.

He reiterated his unwavering commitment to facilitating more impactful initiatives that will deliver tangible dividends of democracy to the good people of Oluponna and the entire Ayedire Local Government Area.

He further assured residents that he remains resolute in his efforts to attract meaningful development, pledging to continue engaging relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure that the communities in Ayedire LGA benefits from sustained government presence and infrastructural advancement.

Oyelude added that the development stands as a testament to the power of purposeful leadership, strategic advocacy, and a shared vision for grassroots transformation.
