Mohamed Salah’s time at Liverpool FC has been marked not only by trophies and unforgettable performances, but also by a remarkable collection of records that cement his place among the club’s all-time greats.
Since arriving from AS Roma in 2017, the Egyptian forward has consistently delivered at the highest level, rewriting Liverpool and Premier League history with his goals, assists and extraordinary consistency.
Over nine memorable years at Anfield, Salah played a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning campaigns in 2019/20 and 2024/25, while establishing himself as one of the finest players to grace English football.
Among his biggest achievements is becoming Liverpool’s highest Premier League goalscorer with 191 league goals for the club, surpassing former record holder Robbie Fowler in 2023 during Liverpool’s famous 7-0 victory over Manchester United FC.
Salah’s overall Premier League tally of 193 goals places him fourth on the all-time scoring chart behind Alan Shearer, Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney.
The Egyptian star also holds the record as the highest-scoring African player in Premier League history, ahead of former Liverpool teammate Sadio Mané and Didier Drogba. He is equally the African player with the most assists in the competition.
Salah further strengthened his legacy by becoming Liverpool’s all-time Premier League assist leader, surpassing club legend Steven Gerrard.
The forward has also won the Premier League Golden Boot four times, equalling the record held by Thierry Henry. His latest triumph came in the 2024/25 season after scoring 29 league goals.
In the same campaign, Salah recorded 47 goal involvements, 29 goals and 18 assists, the highest ever in a 38-game Premier League season, surpassing the previous record jointly held by Henry and Erling Haaland.
His impact at Anfield has also been historic. Salah has directly contributed to more Premier League goals at one stadium than any player in history, with 155 goal involvements at Anfield.
Beyond the Premier League, Salah has continued to break records in European football. He became Liverpool’s third-highest goalscorer in all competitions with 257 goals, behind only Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.
In 2022, he scored the fastest hat-trick in UEFA Champions League history during Liverpool’s 7-1 victory over Rangers FC. He also became the first African player to score 50 Champions League goals.
Salah additionally holds the record for the most European appearances for Liverpool, surpassing former defender Jamie Carragher.
