Reality TV star Phyna has defeated actress Nkechi Blessing by knockout in the fourth round of a historic female celebrity boxing bout organised by Balmoral Group.
The bout, which marked the first female celebrity boxing event staged by the group, saw both entertainers go head-to-head in four rounds before Phyna secured a decisive victory.
Following her win, the reality star expressed her desire to take boxing more seriously and revealed plans to pursue the sport professionally.
Phyna also wasted no time in looking for her next opponent as she called out fellow entertainer Etinosa for a potential bout.
Responding to the challenge, Etinosa accepted, simply saying, “Challenge accepted.”
The victory came with major rewards for Phyna, as Worldstreet, a trading, gaming and entertainment platform, presented her with ₦50 million.
She was also gifted an electric vehicle as part of the prizes presented after the fight.
The event attracted attention beyond the entertainment industry, with the unusual matchup between two popular female celebrities adding a new dimension to Nigeria’s growing celebrity boxing scene.
