Corps members of National Youth Service Corps in Cross River state were on Thursday teargased by men of Nigerian Police while protesting their unpaid allowances by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
In a video that went viral, Corpers were seen scampering for safety as some uniform men made them the targets of teargas.
INEC has refused to pay their election allowance since March 9, a move, some have seen as callous.
