The Osun-based businesswoman and philanthropist, Alhaja Ero Arike, has publicly accused Governor Ademola Adeleke and his family of betrayal of trust after allegedly failing to fulfill a political promise made to her.
In a viral outburst, Alhaja Arike claimed she provided significant financial and material support to Adeleke’s swearing-in, including ₦5 million in cash, two big cows worth ₦1.6 million each, four bags of yam flour, and multiple cartons of her Ero-Arike products.
According to her, referring to Mrs. Dupe Sanni the Governor’s sister, she inquired about what she wanted in return for her contributions. Arike stated that she requested the chairmanship of Boripe Local Government, which she claimed was documented at the time.
However, she now alleges that the family failed to honor their promise, leading to her feeling deceived.
