The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has issued a warning to the public about fake recruitment advertisements circulating online. The company clarified that it is not currently conducting any hiring process.

In an official statement posted on its verified social media handle, NNPCL advised job seekers to be cautious and avoid falling for fraudulent recruitment schemes.

The company emphasized that legitimate job openings would only be announced through its official channels, including its website and verified social media platforms.

“The general public is hereby informed that NNPC Limited is not recruiting,” the statement read. It further reminded individuals that the recruitment process at NNPCL is transparent, merit-based, and does not require external assistance.

NNPCL urged Nigerians to disregard any unofficial job advertisements claiming to be from the company, as these could be attempts to defraud potential applicants.

The company also reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of its recruitment process and assured the public that any official hiring announcements would be made when recruitment begins.

Job seekers were encouraged to verify information through NNPCL’s official platforms to avoid being misled by scammers.

NNPCL also called on individuals to report any suspicious recruitment ads falsely linked to the company to the relevant authorities.
