The Honorable Member-elect for Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo federal constituency, Bukola Oyewo has congratulated the Muslim faithfuls in his constituency over the holy month of Ramadan.
Oyewo in a statement he signed on Tuesday enjoined the use the month to pray reflect the piety and also re-dedicate themselves towards the progress of Nigeria.
The statement partly reads, “As Ramadan begins, I want to felicitate with our Muslim brethren for witnessing yet another season of spiritual significance.
“Let us use this holy month to reflect and re-dedicate ourselves to prayers.
“I urge Muslim faithfuls to imbibe the virtue of piety and pray for unity and progress with the commencement of the Ramadan fast.
“The sacred month of Ramadan is a period for Muslim faithfuls across the country to draw close to God, live in peace with their neighbours and dedicate themselves to the virtues of charity and sacrifice.

“Let us uphold the hallmarks of the period which include peaceful coexistence,commitments to family, faith and community.
“The period is a time of reflection and dedication to God and as Muslim faithfuls observe this sacred devotion, they should remember to pray for peace and unity of the Nation as well”.
