MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced that the highly anticipated 10th season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will kick off on July 26, 2025, with a special double launch weekend spanning July 26 and 27.
At a press conference held on Wednesday, organisers revealed that this season’s winner will take home a massive N150 million, the largest grand prize since the reality show debuted in 2006.
Popular media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as host, continuing his long-standing role on the show.
During the briefing, Ebuka reflected on the show’s impressive legacy, noting that BBNaija has featured 197 housemates across nine seasons, aired for a total of 709 days, and distributed N637 million in prize money.
Last year’s edition, themed “No Loose Guard,” introduced a unique twist that saw housemates audition and enter the house in pairs before being separated to compete individually. Kellyrae ultimately emerged as the winner, walking away with N100 million and becoming the first married contestant to win the show.
For this year’s edition, organisers reinstated physical auditions, which were held nationwide from May 16 to 18.
