Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has shared heartfelt words of advice to his daughter, Temi Otedola, and her husband, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, at their wedding reception held in Iceland this August.

The couple, who first tied the knot privately in Iceland, had earlier hosted two other ceremonies: a civil wedding in Monaco on May 9 coinciding with Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday and a Yoruba traditional wedding at the Otedola family home in Dubai in July.

In a now-viral video from the Iceland reception, Otedola praised the couple’s love, work ethic, and compatibility, calling their union “made in heaven.”

“You’ve found a great guy,” he told Temi. “He’s from a good family. My advice: submit to your husband. He’s your husband, your boss now no more dad, don’t call me.”

Otedola also highlighted the couple’s shared entrepreneurial spirit.

“You’re both truly in love. Temi is an entrepreneur, Tosin is an entrepreneur. This match was destined. You’re both hustlers, real hustlers. Keep loving each other.

He further advised the couple to handle challenges privately.

“When you have issues, keep them between yourselves. Don’t involve outsiders. God will bless your marriage.”

Ending his speech, Otedola presented the couple with a wedding gift.

“I’ve splintered my savings account to bring this gift. You’re both go-getters go out, outthink, outmanoeuvre, and outspend. Be great.”

Following the wedding, Temi updated her surname on social media, now going by Temi Ajibade, sparking renewed discussions in Nigerian feminist circles about the tradition of women taking their husband’s surname after marriage.
