Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has expressed heartfelt appreciation to her fans, friends, and supporters following the release of her brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, who was recently arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the actress shared a cheerful video celebrating her brother’s freedom while reflecting on the love and support she received during the challenging period.

“And my brother is out. One battle down,” Regina announced joyfully.

Speaking emotionally, she added, “You know, it’s such a big deal to be genuinely loved by so many people. Can I brag a little? I’m loved by so many people! The kind of love I received during this time made me emotional. I feel really good. Jokes on you, Ned, because you thought people would hate me.”

The actress went on to acknowledge the different groups of people who stood by her, saying, “I have my mothers, my fathers, my uncles, my brothers, my sisters, my friends, my fans, my online aunties and daddies, everyone fighting for me.”

She concluded her message with a note of gratitude: “Thank you, guys. I can’t even begin to mention names.”

A separate video shared by activist Omoyele Sowore showed friends and colleagues, including actress Mercy Johnson, celebrating Sammy West’s release.

The development follows ongoing speculation about tension in Regina Daniels’ marriage to politician Ned Nwoko. The actress had previously gone viral in an emotional video, breaking down in tears over her brother’s detention and expressing deep distress over her family’s situation.

Nwoko has, however, denied allegations of domestic abuse, claiming instead that Daniels’ struggles stem from alleged issues with substance use, a claim that has drawn mixed reactions from the public.
