Nollywood star Regina Daniels has celebrated music icon Tiwa Savage after what she described as an uplifting and memorable interaction between them.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Daniels recounted how Savage’s words of wisdom deeply encouraged her, adding that the singer surprised her with a dollar gift — a gesture the actress said brightened her day.
“Her wisdom lifted my spirit and her thoughtful dollar gift put the brightest smile on my face,” Daniels wrote, noting that she is usually the one giving but was touched when Savage insisted it was her turn to receive “something beautiful.”
Daniels described the conversation as both enlightening and heartfelt, emphasizing that true mentorship goes beyond advice, extending to care, encouragement, and shared joy.
“I only counsel from those who have walked a path similar to mine,” she said. “Thank you, Mamito, for pouring into me with both wisdom and love.”
The actress concluded her message by expressing gratitude for Savage’s guidance and warmth, adding that she passed along a loving message from her mother as well.
