Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has dismissed reports claiming that she died, assuring her fans that she is alive, healthy and safe.
The death rumour circulated on social media on Sunday, prompting the actress to address the reports in a video shared on her Instagram page.
Kadiri urged her fans and members of the public to disregard the reports, stressing that she was neither involved in an accident nor in any danger.
“Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,” the actress said.
She further reassured her followers, saying, “I am alive and healthy.”
Kadiri described the reports as false and appealed to her fans not to believe or spread unverified information about her.
The filmmaker also called on her followers to report social media accounts circulating the false death reports to prevent the rumour from gaining further traction.
The latest death hoax comes as Kadiri remains active in the entertainment industry, promoting her latest project, Once Upon a Village, on her digital platforms.
She recently released Episode 5 of the series on RuthKadiri247, featuring actors including Henrietta Ibekwe and Deza The Great.
Kadiri has continued to strengthen her presence in the digital space through the release of original Nollywood productions and behind-the-scenes content for her growing audience.
