The crisis rocking the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has taken another dimension as gunmen set ablaze a truck parked on the road leading to the residence of the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole in Benin City.

The two trucks belonging to the Edo State Waste Management Agency were used in blocking the premises to Oshiomhole’s residence in GRA Benin City on Saturday.

The trucks were allegedly used to restrict the movement of the APC national chairman.

The trucks were set ablaze yesterday by the same people who drove the trucks there.

It is alleged there is a deliberate effort by loyalist of Obaseki to incite a crisis in the town and put the blame on the shoulders of the APC national chairman.

Oshiomhole, who was expected in Edo state yesterday, was booed at the airport by some people believed to be loyalists of Governor Godwin Obaseki.
