Mothers of late former international footballers,, Rashidi Yekini and Samuel Okwaraji are to be receiving support from Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Sunday Dare and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

The two aged women have been placed
on monthly allowances.

The minister on Wednesday announced that henceforth, Alhaja Sikiratu, mother of Rashidi Yekini will receive a monthly stipend of N10,000 from the ministry.

Dare who was represented by Olaitan Shittu in Ijagbo, near Offa in Kwara also donated various food stuffs and provisions as well as cash gift of N50,000 to the aged mother.

In a related development, the NFF also made a similar pledge yesterday as the federation announced that Yekini and Okwaraji’s mothers would each receive N30,000 monthly for their upkeep.
