Akogun Lere Oyewumi and Mr Oluseyi Fabiyi have emerged as Senatorial candidates of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun West and Central respectively.
Oyewumi defeated his rivals, Peter Babalola and Mr Dele Adeleke to clinch the ticket of the party for the second consecutive time, having contested in 2019.
Ajagunla as fondly called, Fabiyi defeated the Osogbo grassroot politician, Gani Olaoluwa and former Chairman of Irepodun local government, Kamarudeen Ajisafe to become the PDP standard bearer.
InsightMedia had earlier reported that the PDP Primary in Osun East was postponed following the crisis that engulfed the process.
