Osun First Lady and President Ilerioluwa Development Initiative, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has extended her elderly support and widows outreach to beneficiaries in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government.

 

Mrs Oyetola who received and hosted not less than 250 aged persons and widows at the St. Peter’s primary school Iragbijii in stated that the intervention is targeted at having direct interface with the elderly and aged widows in the State.

She also added that since the operation of her NGO, IleriOluwa Development Initiative, she has constantly made the care and succor for aged women a priority program.

 

She also advised that since our society is yet to fully develop the social security system that gives comfort to our aged especially in the rural sub-urban communities, capable stakeholders should step up to ensure a better life for our aged people.

She therefore pleaded with the aged population to re-intensify the roles played in years past by molding the attitude of our young ones.

Mrs Oyetola is also the Chairperson of the Osun Women Development Association (OSUNWA) and the Chairperson Southern Governors Wives Forum.
