The Osun Online Media Practitioners Association has congratulated the Olowu of Kuta, Oba Adekunle Makama Oyelude on his elevation to the rank of Vice Chairman, Osun State Traditional Council.
Oba Oyelude, who was formerly a Permanent Member of the Council, was elevated on Friday by the Osun State government.
Congratulating the newly elevated monarch, Chairman of OOMPA, Jare Tiamiyu described the development as a reward of dedication, selfless service and vibrancy of the Olowu.
“Oba Oyelude has not only used the stool to benefit Owus home and abroad, he has also worked hard to bring rapid development to the State. His rapport with young and old persons in the State has shown that he’s a monarch with a difference.” Tiamiyu said in a statement on Friday.
“Oba Oyelude has brought unprecedented respect, class and exposure to the stool of Olowu and this elevation is an attestation to this. We have no doubt that Olowu will do well in this new assignment as Vice Chairman of the council.”
The OOMPA Chairman wishes Olowu long life on the throne to enjoy his new rank.
