The Director-General of Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Simon Lalong, has lost his polling unit to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The polling unit numbered 015, is in Kurumbo Ward B in the Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Lalong, who is the incumbent governor of Plateau State and candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Plateau South Senatorial District in Saturday’s election voted at Unit 015 located at the LEA Primary School, Ajikamai.
Sowan Stephen, the presiding officer of the unit, announced that Peter Obi of the Labour Party got 104 votes while the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, got 88 votes.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 8 votes.
However, the results were different in the National Assembly elections as APC took the upper hand, leading other parties in the Senate and House of Representatives’ elections at the polling unit.
