In a highly anticipated presidential election in some parts of the country, the delayed commencement of polling has reportedly taken a toll on the entire process. According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), out of an expected 176,846 results, only 25,719 have been uploaded onto the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

The delay in the start of the polls has been attributed to logistical challenges and other unforeseen circumstances. The situation has left many voters frustrated and concerned about the integrity of the electoral process.

As of 9:07 am on Sunday, only a small fraction of the expected results had been uploaded, leaving many wondering when the full results would be available. This delay has raised concerns about the transparency and credibility of the election process.

The INEC officials have promised to work diligently to ensure that all results are uploaded and verified as soon as possible. The commission also urged voters and stakeholders to remain calm and patient as they work to complete the electoral process.

This election is of utmost importance to the country, and the results will have far-reaching implications for its future. As such, it is essential that the electoral process is transparent and fair, and that all parties accept the outcome of the election.
