The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has received certificate of return from The Independent National Electoral Commission for been reelected for a second term.
Makinde via his twitter handle on Wednesday after collecting the certificate, appreciated the people of Oyo State for the privilege to serve them.
His tweets: “Today, we received our certificates of return in Ibadan. On behalf of all elected officers of our party, the PDP, I thanked God and the good people of Oyo State for the privilege to serve them”.
“I also thanked everyone who contributed to our success including the impartial Oyo State INEC officials and the security agencies who ensured that our people could freely exercise their civic responsibility. Our collective effort resulted in Oyo State being used as a reference point for peaceful elections in Nigeria”.
