Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON today flag-off distribution of 50,000 food palliatives for Students in Kwara State.
The Governor also approved the payment of Bursary and Schorlaship Award to Kwara State indigenes in Tertiary Institutions across the country.
AbdulRazaq said the various supports by his administration are to enable parents and students cope with the economic shocks created by subsidy removal.
The students’ leadership took turns to commend Governor Abdulrazaq for priorizing welfare of students, even before the advent of economic hardship in the country, acknowledged that the governor had proven to be a humble and proactive man, “who never gets tired of listening to the yearnings of the students, as improvement of their affairs has always remained a topmost part of his agenda.
