The Chief Judge of Bayelsa State has sworn in Senator Douye Diri of the People’s Democratic Party as the new governor of Bayelsa state.
His running mate, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo had earlier taken oath of office as the new Deputy Governor of the state.
The duo were sworn in at the Bayelsa state government house in after collecting their certificates of return at the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja.
