Pharaoh Okadigbo, son of the former Senate President, Senator Chuba Okadigbo is dead.

Pharaoh died in a car accident that occurred on Saturday, but the cause of his death had not been independently verified..

Reacting to the news of his death on Sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari condoled with the bereaved family, saying the country will miss him for his firm belief and contribution to achieving a better Nigeria.

According to the statement issued by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, Buhari said the deceased was a “promising young man with so much potentials and passion for youth involvement in the socio-political development of Nigeria.

“The President notes that the late Pharaoh at an early age keyed into the vision of a better Nigeria, not just for the privileged but for all and sundry, which he (the President) shared with the late Chuba, who was his running mate in the 2003 presidential election,” the statement reads.

President Buhari adds that the nation will miss a firm believer in the necessity for the people to work in collaboration with governments at all levels to achieve the better society we all wish for.”

Buhari prayed that God will comfort the family, friends and associates of the deceased.
