Dr Rasheed Adebiyi, Fellow of Solution Journalism Africa, on Wednesday took his advocacy campaign on Solution Journalism to the midst of Online Media Practitioners in Osun State.
The training and dialogue, held at Insight Multi-Links Media headquarters in Osogbo, had in attendance no fewer than 12 online journalists in the State.
In his presentation, Adebiyi took participants through the need to start the practice of Solution Journalism to de-escalate tension and ensure more focus are given to Solutions being provided by individuals and groups to tackle problems.
The Varsity lecturer also emphasized the need to bring localize contents for global audience.
In his response, Chairman of Online Media Practitioners in Osun State, Jare Tiamiyu appreciated Adebiyi for the seminar, promised to ensure the message gets deeper and is put into practice.
