A 23-year-old man, Abdulafeez Shorinmade, who murdered one Royifat Rasaki in Iwo town, Osun State, has confessed to the Osun State Police Command in Osogbo, that it was a spirit that controlled to stab his victims.
Abdulafeez Shorinmade, who armed himself with a pair of scissors and stabbed one Rofiyat Rasaki on the neck where she bleed to death and two other victims in Iwo, Osun State.
Spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, SP Yemisi Opalola, while parading the suspect on Tuesday in Osogbo at the Police Headquarters, said “the suspect fled the scene and went to Soba compound where he equally stabbed another female victim Sawiyu Nasrup on her chin”.
Speaking further with the news men, SP Opalola said the police confirm that the suspect, Abdulafeez Shorinmade was under the influence of drugs.
According to the suspect, Abdulafeez Shorinmade, who said “the colour of the scissors looks like same colour with his prayer mat.
“The main reason he took the scissors was because spirit told me not to take it, so he confidentially took the scissors to commit the crimes” he said.
SP Opalola said the injured victims was rushed to the Hospital, treated and discharged while the corpse of the first victim was taken to general hospital for autopsy.
“The suspect will be charged to court after the completion of investigation of the case” She concluded.
