Morocco have defeated Spain in a penalty shootout to book a quarter final slot for Africans in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The North African team showed resilience, determination and focus to keep the star-studded Spanish team at bay for 90 minutes before reproducing the same same in the extra time.
Spain, who are the 2010 Champions, missed their first three penalties while the Moroccan side hit target in three of the first four kicks.
