Osun State Governor , Senator Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday announced committee to distribute rice for Christmas celebration.
The Governor, according to a statement by his Spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, said the committee will distribute 40 bags of rice per each 332 wards across the State.
The committee comprise of a member of the league of Imams, a representative of the Christian Association of Nigeria, a member of the People’s Democratic Party, a member of the All Progressives Congress, a Pensioner/Retiree and Woman.
“The government also wishes to affirm to Osun People that the Sure-P fund, which Governor Adeleke stopped former government from looting, remains intact and safe in the accounts of the local governments.”
