Born from a polyamorous family, second child amongst four children and first male child of his mother.
Marathon lost his father in 2016 when he was still at a very young age after loosing his father ,reality of helplessness dawned on him as there was no one who supported his mother the widow or any of the deceased children .
As the first male child of the family though very young ,Marathon decided to leave home to fend for his family and face his dreams.
Determined, passionate and ambitious Marathon went to many places in the pursuit of making an ends meet ,he started hawking bread and at a certain time he started hawking biscuits in order to be able to cater for the family after the death of his father,despite all this struggles,he never stopped believing in himself and continuously kept writing musics and pursuing his dreams.
Marathon named his style of music Afropiano ,a mix of amapiano and afro pop, this super talented artist would up the game of music in Nigeria and all over the world,some of his musical mentors in the industry includes Wizkid,Davido and many more.
Marathon hopes to work with fellow talented super artists in the industry the likes of Mayorkun, Zinoleesky, Omahlay ,Mohbad,Lil-kesh and others.
