Nigerian music icon Davido has released a new single titled “Be There Still,” generating excitement among fans eagerly anticipating his fifth studio album, 5IVE. The track, which blends Afrobeat with contemporary sounds, was released on Friday, March 14, 2025.
The 5-time Grammy-nominated artist shared the release on his official X (formerly Twitter) account (@davido), captioning it with, “Midnight we feast,” just before the track dropped.
“Be There Still” boasts impressive production from Marvey Muzique, DJ Maphorisa, and Black Culture, with mixing by D-RO.
In addition to the single, Davido previously released two singles in preparation for 5IVE: “Funds,” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and “Awuke,” featuring YG Marley. “Funds” offers a compelling collaboration with Odumodublvck’s raw verses, Chike’s smooth melodies, and Davido’s dynamic energy.
Davido has confirmed that 5IVE will be released on April 18, 2025. The singer describes the album as a reflection of his journey, truth, and personal growth.
